I also do not to veganism. However, it is not in our best interest

to

alienate vegans with strong statements.

As for everyone in Maine becoming vegan and no cows left in 2 years....

Let me suggest an alternative scenario. As the vegan diet is more austere

then

the lacto vegetarian diet, it takes a great sense of purpose and dedication to

sustain it. Let me cynically state that the general population is not very

dedicated or austere. As such, it would soon be looking for a source of sense

gratification, which is easily supplied by milk.

Why would the whole state of Maine become vegan? If we look at the most

realistic

probability, it would be that they became knowledgeable of the current

practices in

the karmi dairy industry and had a change of heart and decided to not support

such

cruelty. As such, they would be very open to a source of milk for gratifying

their tongue that was not dependent on such cruelty. As they would now be

educated

in such matters, they would be most open to the concept that milk from

protected

cows would be more expensive, and, driven by the desire of the tongue to

enjoy,

would be willing to pay a premium for such protected milk, and would be

grateful

to those who were able to supply it.

Their brains, nourished by both the gross and subtle effects of such milk,

would

make the whole State of Maine very suseptible to book distribution and Maine

would

become the first Krsna conscious state. :-)

Most vegans are so because of ethical reasons, not religious convictions, and

as

such, are not opposed to milk per se, but rather they are opposed to blood

milk.

They are a great potential ally.
