Guest guest
Following is a reply to a letter I sent yesterday to Bir Krishna Maharaj ys, Rohita dasa Dear Rohita, Please accept my obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. I will definitely come there this year to see if the farm complies with the minimum cow standards. Perhaps you can write a report on this for New Talavan right away and email it to me. Also if you can check on Murari, I would be appreciative. Better to send the financial reports by email. Just send the reports as a text file or MS Word file. Thanks for the help. I hope this meets you in good health. Your servant, Bir Krishna das Goswami

Guest guest
Dear Mother Chayadevi: Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. I was reviewing the Standards in the process of making a report to Bir Krsna Maharaj and have come across the following error: "leasor" in the following should read "lessee", leasor (spelt wrong - lessor) is the owner of the property, and lessee is the person leasing property. SECTION 2 BREEDING STANDARDS IX REQUIREMENTS FOR ACQUIRING COWS Permitted: 2) Leasing Cows Arrangements for leasing cows to others is permitted if it can contribute to the overall goal of cow protection, and if the leasor is legally bound to abide by all Cow Protection Standards, including, but not limited to, arrangements made for lifetime protection of both cow and calf. Ys, Rohita dasa PS. Please check this with Sesa to be sure.
Guest guest
Yes, very encouraging, thank you Rohita Prabhu for showing us how to get this moving...may we all be inspired to follow your example. Could you please send me an email version of the Cow Protection Report (as you're sending to Bir Krishna Maharaj? I can't seem to locate it anywhere, only found the '1986 ISKCON Farm Census' & the 'ANNUAL AGRICULTURAL SURVEY 2000'. I'm unable to access it at ISCOWP's site or at the cow.com archives. ys, nistula dasa
