For those that knew the great Go-mata " Vishaka " who supplied Radha Damodara

for her whole life with her milk, some many years of service to dieties and

devotees of Krsna.

On her last lactation she gave milk for 8 years after her last calf. She was

still giving 2-3 gallons per day. She was giving milk up till her last breath.

This is amazing.... amazing mata, Vishaka. ( Mother Kaulini's best friend ).

Mother Kaulini was with her for her whole life.

Cow who feels love from the people, and can be mother for so many people, cause

she knows They love me.

Vishaka left her body on Jan. 11th. in the early morning.

There was assembly of devotees with nice Kirtan for her departure that morning.

Gita Nagari will always remember and miss her.

Bhakta Derek,

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

Vishaka was a wonderful cow. I remember when she was still a heifer and Sri

Krsna

or someone showed us how to massage her "udder" so she would be used to being

touched there once she actually had her first calf. She was a very mild Brown

Swiss

cow, very sweet tempered. From what I understood from Mother Kaulini, she had

very

long lactations -- 3 or 4 years -- and was be giving 3 gallons per day even

after

several years.

What a wonderful servant Vishaka cow was to her Lordships Sri-Sri Radha

Damodara

and Their Gopis, Lalita-devi and Vishaka-devi. Although it's always sad to

hear

about a cow passing away at Gita-nagari, it's a wonderful thing, too. Because

of

the dedication of devotees like yourself Bhakta Derek, Mother Kaulini and

others --

and all the Adopt-A-Cow donors -- we are able to see a cow's life on earth play

out

in a natural way, just as Krsna intended. In a world of quarrel and hypocrisy,

that delicate manifestation of peace and goodness in harmony with the will of

the

Lord is manifest in a cow's life, thanks to the devotional service of all of

you.

This is a more important contribution to world peace than any of you imagine,

as

you faithfully go about your daily service.

your servant,

Hare Krsna dasi
