Prabhupada: 30 bighas of pasture for Mayapur

I was reading a Prabhupada quote last night where Srila Prabhupada said that in

Mayapur should be 20 bighas of land for the temple and 30 bighas of lands for

pasture for the cows -- I'm not sure whether it was "pasture" or "grazing

ground."

 

Anyway, I was wondering, how many acres or hectares is s "bigha" of land? Does

anyone out there know?

 

Maybe Tarakara prabhu could look up this quote -- I don't have access to the

VedaBase from here.
