YS, Niscala Hare Krsna dasi comments: This is a fascinating piece of information -- that Srila Prabhupada told Ramesvara and Hamsaduta Maharajas to grow their own food with the bullocks. It would be good to get the date and the source for this quote. Could you help us out with this information? Thanks very much! your servant, Hare Krsna dasi P.S. Did I say that Bir Krsna Maharaja was the only GBC I'd seen behind a team of oxen. Please add Bhakti-tirtha Maharaja to that list. Also note that Bhakti-tirtha Maharaja is the second biggest financial backer to the Prabhupada Varnasrama book project. (Ambarish prabhu is the primary supporter -- all glories to him, too!) Lokanath Maharaja is obviously another ox power GBC, but I have not personally seen him with a team, since I've only been to India one time for just a couple weeks.
