Guest guest
For instance I beleive it was Niscala prabhu or it could have been someone else, but they kept saying something about a cow being carried in a front end loader. This was something a few devotees saw at our farm- not me. The cow, Gokularani, had slipped into a ditch. The problem they had was the method of transport- they thought the sling to be less cruel as she had a broken hip or something. They said her head was hanging over the edge, like a dead cow and they thought she was dead, so they were shocked to find she wasn't, as they thought that a live cow shouldn't be transported in that way, especially one with a broken something. My problem wasn't that, it was the following: -she did not get any medical visit for diagnosis as to what was broken, if anything, and what should be done, she did not get medical attention at all - the ditch was dug in an area of high concentration of animals- the milking area- it was deep and contained the runoff (water, dung) from the milking area- it was a very dangerous situation, simply to make ease of collecting green dung -once she was up at the barn, she was not turned over even once to give her relief from the pressure sores she was developing, which develop after 1 or 2 days. She was left unturned for 3 weeks. Ony death brought her relief. -devotees who went to see her observed that she was not being given food or water, by this devotee who did it, so they supplied it, although there was no request for them to do so. - she was forced to lie in her own excrement There is only one devotee responsible for Gokularani's death, and her intense suffering that led up to it. He holds no remorse for his actions and is even quite arrogant about it. He falsely claimed that Gokularani had "outrageous sexual passion" and broke her hip from another cow mounting her, but I was eye-witness to seeing her being hopelessly stuck in the ditch he made. Shortly after I was physically attacked by him and had my car smashed up, all its tyres slashed, so our GBC visited and forbid me to go near the cows "for my own safety". So you may say why didn't other devotees try to help, well when they see what happens to devotees that do, they kind of get put off. In fact, as a direct result of this, three of my friends refuse to even set foot on the property, and a few others won't assist in any way, they are so disgusted. Not just by what happened to me and how it was dealt with, but the abuse of animals in general, on our farm New Gokula. I hope you understand there is a gulf of difference between doing all you can for the cows, but still being unable to stop them suffering due to circumstances, and causing this suffering through gross neglect. I am not lumping in you or anyone else who genuinely tries to care for cows, so I'm sorry if there was any offense ys, niscala ____ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
