Guest guest
<< Oh no you cry Profits are not acceptable we should grow just enough to prevent starvation! I have not followed the practical varnasrama conference closely, so I don't know what comments were made but I am an advocate of self-sufficiency as opposed to cash-cropping. Reason being that it was SP's instruction in regards to farming. As we are all his disciples, direct or indirect, then we have to at least know his desire, and as much as possible or practical, cleave to it. It is simply our duty. However if we are unable to do so, we should remember that Prabhupada also found it impossible to immediately follow his spiritual masters order (in his case to preach in the west), but he maintained the desire and so was extremely successful eventually. YEA RIGHT! If profits are so wrong... I've run out of computer time, sorry, ys, niscala why do you beg donations from the profitable devotees? Well, for one thing the poor have nothing left except service. The profitable farmer is expected to give everything you can squeeze from them. But oh no we can't make a surplus. ____ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
