Guest guest
We know that you have real cow protection because we hear your the oxen are trained. This is a nice story, Aradhya, and I encourage you and others who have news about their projects to send them to the newly revised Chakra, which will be much more community oriented than formerly. There are two special sections which will be of great interest to devotees on this conference: Varnasrama -- and Simple Living. These are forums where you can publicize the on-going work of your projects, and where devotee communities can share how they deal with various challenges of community life. In the past VNN and Chakra and other sites have given a lot of emphasis to the swamis and leadership, which has it's place. But in that, the voice of the rank-and-file devotee has been lost. Some people become depressed thinking that devotees are not doing anything anymore. It's really important for the general body of devotees to hear your stories. You should send your stories to news (AT) chakra (DOT) org There is a place for festival announcements, etc., where you will want to publish announcements of upcoming festivals, conferences and workshops, etc. But -- we need to hear a lot more about what goes on when there is no festival, what is the work devotee communities are doing to develop farming and to help train young devotee farmers in projects around the world? So when you send an article, send pictures, and be sure that at least some of them included devotees working on various projects. We need to get inspired by what you are doing -- so send your news soon! your servant, Hare Krsna dasi "Aradhya (dasi) ACBSP (Prabhupada Village, NC - USA)" wrote: > Haribol! > The first heifer calf ever to be born in Prabhupada Village saw the light of > day on Prabhupada's Disappearance Day.
