Guest guest
That explains why when I was in Chicago, one month ago, I saw a beautiful advertisement on the buses with a cow on it. I was surprised. It was written: CHI COW GO. And on her body, there were all kinds of drawings in the Indian style, like different parts of her body representing something symbolically. It could have been the map of the subway or the town. I don't know.

I saw a similar (or maybe the same) exhibit when I was in Zurich, Switzerland last summer. There were lifesize models of cows with all kinds of motifs painted on them all over the city - must have been hundreds. Some of the stores that were sponsoring them handed out maps of the city with the locations marked. If it's the same ones, they sure get around! I just visited Chicago at the beginning of the month. The exhibit is based on the Swiss one (same mastermind), but the individual cows are the works of local artists. Many of the cows will be auctioned after the exhibit is over, though some are already paid for -- could make quite the lawn ornament. There are cows all over Michigan Avenue, though, sadly, there are none in the Mahatma Gandhi Marg (Devon St.) area near the temple. -- Vijay

Zurich , Toronto what do I know. All those foreign cities seem alike to me. Zurich it was. But it's raining (actual rain- we are so drought starved here I had forgotten what it sounded like1) so my brain is all silly.
