Guest guest
Dear Syam et al, > Speaking practically how would the endowment model > work in practice. This is serious work that needs to be done. I believe in a system that can be replicated, not just confined to a model elite. A replicable model would need flexibility according to many factors like production intensity, $lifestyle needs of producers and consumers, financing, etc. If a production model built on population growth and expected sustainable yields were to be fully developed, as I have been trying, then the consumers could be interested in both consuming the final products and also investing in the farms assets. They would need certainty of investment and dividends in a co-operative model - as a co-operative investment bank. The idea here though is to put money into the system that is not hot, but that is fixed for a certain time under certain conditions, even a bond-type system could work. The options are many and varied, and depend upon many factors. There is also the white night on the stalion kysatria who could donate large amounts of money or land, but this is not likely to be replicable, so it will only be feasible to a very few - probably those who really want to live a basic peasant life. There are many approaches that I would be happy to put my input into - let's see what comes up from this conference first.
