History of cow abuse:appreciating the battlers

All the devotees who care for cow-welfare should show their gratitude to

Ananda Maya and

her husband who have struggled for so long to care for the cows there in

Ireland for

so many years, and it seems in very difficult circumstances. Any neglect in

their welfare

was obviously only due to a lack of support, which they were entitled to but

did not

recieve. This is only due to ignorance of the importance of cow protection,

being

content with only lip service. Not offering support to cowherds, if not

financial or

physical, then at least verbal by a statement (or many statements) of

appreciation, is

practically the same as cow abuse because it may result in the same

thing.There has to

be devotees of their dedication created, maintained and supported in our

society.

Therefore there has to be education as to the importance of REAL cow

protection to

Krsna Consciousness, then support, and for this reason I formulated 7

proposals for

consideration at Mayapur. Devotees who like them who are PRACTICALLY

dedicated to

the cows, are very rare, too rare to ensure adequate protection for our cows

worldwide, so my aim with these proposals was to create and support many
