Yes, of the 4 in the pasture on my property, Broken Horn loves tomatoes, and will immediately come over when I am putting the overripe ones over the fence. > Why should we just be angry at the cow abuse? One thing to bear in mind, is that apparent abuse is not always the fault of the cowherds. I can say very definitely that in New Vrindaban, although there is no overt abuse, there is lack of specialized care for weaker animals. This is not the fault of the cowherds or there lack of knowledge or interest - it is purely insufficient funding. So be careful before you go off blaming the cowherds who may already be stretched emotionally dealing with a bad situation. It is those who simply pay blood subsidized prices for their milk consumption without giving any support to cow protection who need to be prodded. On the other hand, if the cowherds have sufficient resources, and divert them to other uses, then that does need to be addressed. And that can go right up to the GBC level if money that could go to minimal cow protection is used for traveling and construction projects. > > ____ > Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
