Since my pc is not operating at full capacity, I was using a friend's pc for the testing. I made an early journey so as to ensure that all was well and the necessary programs were in place. Everything checked out and at 8:15p.m ((5.15 CA, we are 3 hours ahead) i was anxiously awaiting the time to log on. At 8:25 the emergency lights cut in, ... there was a power cut in the area; 8:40 came I called the power company - "it will be back in 10 mins" 8:50 still no electricity... Dear Kalia ~ and to everyone else who assisted in the test from the Devi Mandir side of things ... my heartfelt gratitude and appreciation. And, isn't this always the way things go? While I thought I had downloaded everything I needed and was logged onto ahead of time, I soon realized that, while I had downloaded what I needed, I hadn't "run" it. I always forget that downloading is only the first step, and if you don't "run" (install) the program, it isn't active. (And I wonder is this some kind of a metaphor from Maa? We can "read" the pujas and the stotrams, but if we don't "install" them ... integrate them wholly into our hearts and lives, the "program" will not run.) So there I was, like you, at the last minute, waiting for the install to finish, counting the minutes ... I thought all my preparedness was about to go down the tube. And then, actually, everything finished just in time, and wasn't it wonderful. And thank you all so much who made this possible.
