Badri yAtra - 5

 

 

SrI:

Dear Srivaishnavas,

 

On day 5 early morning, we left for rudrapryag and visited adhi badri off karNa prayag at evening time. We stayed at rudraprayag.

The veLLi-p-pani malai is visble between nara-nArAyaNa malai

 

ADi badri is 16 kms south west of KarNa prayag where Lord of Badrinath showed HImself to PANDAVas for the first time. It is said that these temples are of Gupta dynasty structure. In the lakshmi NaryaNan temple,

note the wonderful sculpture style and also the shanku and chakkaram... ADhi Badrinath Shrine is under Archealogicval survey, they did not permit photograph so easily.

 

 

The Hanuman chatti temple between pANDu kEshvar and Vadari.
