Guest guest
SriyaHpathippaDi post 5 “lOkAchAryAya guravE krshNapAdasya sUnavE samsArabhOgi samdashTa jIvajIvAthavE namaH” “prostrations to piLLai lOkAcharya, the son of krishNapAda, who is the very life to the souls withered in mundane experiences” luptha chathurtthy arttham Through the fourth case (vibhakthi) hidden in the akaaram, Thadarthyam (for him or only for him) is explained. Since nArAyaNa padam being the detail of “a”kara ends with “Aya” the fourth case (vibhakthi) akara must also have the same vibhakthi. “brahmaNEthya mahasa OmithyAthmAnam yunjjItha” says thaithirIyam, using Om kara jivAthmA surrenders to the brahmam. Ukarartham ------------------- U karam, being the avadharana (descent) vachakam, reaaifirms the bhagavath seshathwa and gets rid of anya seshathwa. If you look around many aspects in the material world, seeing many things being common property of all, seeing that one can think the same to the jivathma. U kara gets rid of that feeling. Contacts with devathAnthara is like let the dead body touches the naivEdya or haviss. Swami then quotes from Nachiyar TM: vaniTa vazhum…..vazhakillEn kanDAy manmathanE “Ma” karaartham ------------ Ma karam roots from mana jnjAnE and mana avabodhanE. It gives us two meanings athma as Knowledge and knowledgeable. Knowledge is Dharmi jnjana and knowledgeable is dharma bhutha jnjanam. As azhwar stated in the 8.8.5 tvm, chentru chentru paramparamay, athma is different and higher than the other 24 achith thathwas. If the 24 alphabets starting from “ka” to “bha” indicate the achith thathwas, “ma” being the 25th alphabet indicate jivathma. Since “ma” kara is in eka vachana, it should be counted as jathyEka vachana, since all jivathmas are shesha bhoothas. Since the seshathwa is more important than knowledge the achith thathwa can also be included in to “ma” kara. Some says U kara also mentions this. Then swami quotes from sthothra rathnam “nacha athmanam…” to stress the importance of seshathwa. If no seshathwam, even athma is not acceptable. In short pranavam “Om” indicates bhagavath SEshathwa, anyaSEShathwa nivrithi, and defines the jivathma swarUpa. kOthilulakaaciriyan kuurakulOththama thaathar thiithil thirumalaiyaazhvaar cezhunkuravai maNavaaLar Othariya pukazh thirunNaavutaiyapiraan thaatharuTan pOtha maNavaaLamuni ponnaTikaL pORRuvanE. vaazhi ulakaaciriyan vaazhiyavan mannukulam vaazhi mutumbaiyennum maanakaram - vaazhi manamchuuzhntha pErinpam malkumiku nallaar inan chuuzhnthirukku miruppu.
