Guest guest
And you, dear Jyotishi have had the humility of announcing to this august forum, bristling with jyotishis who have had it all figured out, based on their writings and publications and associations with The High and Mighty, The Veritable Hoi Poloi as they say, and so on, not to mention 'claimed' years of successful predictions, trying to tell us the cogniscentii <;-) that it can all be done just with the transits? The reality that exists above us, just for the looking? You do know what they teach one in first aid, I hope? Never ask an older person to look up too sharply! For it causes a phenomenon called TAO (www.google.com or wikipedia?) in older people that leads to swooning at its best and a potential stroke at the worst! A breath of fresh air is all grandfatherly old people like me really desire! For we made mistakes with our next generations (children) that we know how we can rectify -- karmically speaking with our grandchildren if only our children (who think we wronged them :-) would let us! I am not that old really, by the way, but just feel that way sometimes!! Or probably, I could not grasp the true pointers of dashas. But, I, in my astrological pursuance, deviated from dasha based phalas (probably, for my inability to dig into multi levels - without reasonable success?) and started applying transits into rashi as well D charts (with reasonable success). Unlike most astrologers, I tried to observe the dasha prevailing (only upto sub level) as corelating factor only. and most of time, upon commencement of dasha (main / sub) - planets involved, were seen corelating in transit (upon natal positioning). Somehow, I observed this corelation point, for chart recification (through dasha commencement). Irrespective of dasha system, for year duration variable, again we might end up looking at wrong / unreliable pointers. Transit (esp read with natal degrees and D charts) has been much more reliable pointer for me (with whatever ayanamsa I have settled down). > > Parashari talks about the use of conditional dashas. For example - if LL is in 7th or 7th lord is in lagna, then Sam Saptaka dasha to be used. I was always lost in its application. Dasha application, is one of the area, which I really need to fine tune for my jyotish pursuance. > > regards / Prafulla Gang > > " It took two thousand generations to make a man from a monkey, but only two to make a monkey out of man " > > > > > > rrgb > > Mon, 05 Jun 2006 01:44:08 -0000 > > > > Re: Ayanamsa issues - misc > > > > Prafulla, > > You are wise, indeed!
