Guest guest
Dear Sevens. Please be careful. I had been practicing yoga for about 20years. Last year I was experiencing a sound each time I went into a lotus type asana. As it did not hurt I didnt worry about it, kept doing primary, second series. Then one day, i jumped back and my knee popped out of its socket, would not go back. To cut a long story short the MRI confirmed I had a medial meniscus tear on both knees. Cannot do any lotus type poses and need to have athrescopes on both knees. Sevens, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stop the excessive moves. Guest guest
I THINK ,ONE MUST LISTEN TO THE MESSAGES OF OUR BODY DURING THE PRACTICE,AND STOP IN THE CORRECT MOMENT,IF NOT WE MAY SRAIN OURSELVES AND MUST STOP THE PRACTICE ANYWAY. AFTER MY EXPERIENCE MY ADVICE IS TO CONTINUE WITH THE PRACTICE OF YOGA ,WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE ASANAS THAT MAKE YOU FEEL PAIN IN THE STRAINED PART OF YOUR BODY UNTIL IT IS REPAIRED.
