Guest guest
Hi, I'm moving to Cambridge to attend grad school for an intensive one year program. Is there a studio right near campus that has mysore? Or is this a fantasy - I could probably go to the Back Bay studio on Sundays, but I have two kids and won't be able to get over there during the week. Perhaps there are other ashtangis in or around Harvard/MIT that I could practice with. I will be living near the Cambridge hospital... Cheers and namaste, Jen
Guest guest
Hi Jen, I'm also moving to Cambridge, at the end of the summer, and I'm also looking for Ashtangis to practice with. I will probably be living near Harvard Square, but we still have not yet found a place. Feel free to contact me offline so we can talk about practice times! Guest guest
If you want ashtanga, mysore style, back bay yoga is the only place that offers it, and it is a ten minute bus ride from harvard square - really not that far. It is such a special practice, that we are lucky to have it here. BBY has been doing the mysore program for 4 years, it really is the only place to go. Guest guest
Yoga301, at 301 Mass Ave, if and when they ever open their doors, was supposed to offer Mysore style, I believe. But right now, Rock Chick is right: Back Bay Yoga is the once place to go. It's good, though, and easy to get to from Harvard. ashtanga yoga, Rock Chick <rokchik666 wrote: > > If you want ashtanga, mysore style, back bay yoga is > the only place that offers it, and it is a ten minute > bus ride from harvard square - really not that far. > It is such a special practice, that we are lucky to > have it here. > BBY has been doing the mysore program for 4 years, it > really is the only place to go. >
