theist
This can be answered in so many ways. One thing I am learning to appreciate about devotees of Krsna is that they are the ones that are experiencing the true oneness of all living beings through Krsna. Whereas the materialist has separated himself (in his consciousness) from Krsna and all other living beings. Is it not true to our own experience? I have felt lonely in the midst of many friends. Ever feel lonely at a party or something? You are at the event and all is going well but still underlying it all there is is feeling of being cut off, isolated. It seems no party is complete without Krsna....and neither are we.
realist31
A materialist is a honest hardworking man who tries to survive,a devotee who makes fun of materialist is a egoistic person who couldnt make it big in material world so calls it sour grapes and thinks he is blessed and taken care by Krsna who died a long time back. Both devotee and materialist die and become ash thats the truth, you can be either one depending on what you want,a lazy devotee who couldnt take care of samsara and dreams of goloka or a materialist who atleast tries to utilise this life, thinking of krsna is not going to spare you from death or illness or poverty if you dont work hard.Choice is yours. They must be the highest pursuit of life. Materalists will be reincarnated for sure.
