Guest guest
Dear Sri Vaishnava perunthagayeer Yesterday adiyen got the bhagyam of being at sri perumbudur during Thirumanjanam and noticed that before start of thirumanjanam - initially Paanagam and vadaiparuppu has been offerred to perumal and distributed to aasthikas. One of the devotee was telling that - at Sriperumbudur - thirumanjanam shall be performed only after offering something to Emberuman and the Lord. Is it so? if yes, what is the Thaathparyam involved in this. Secondly, adiyen has offered Sarkarai pongal Thaligai for emberumaan and was advised to be at the temple for performing darshan and collection of prasadam after offering to HIM. I was told to bring only a small vessel for prasadam - rest of the Upacharam for Archana's will be included in the money gave for Thaligai. Though i was well in time, there was no one to guide me the formalities. As i was told archanai will be conducted and no Upacharam to be carried by the upayadar .. incidentally i did not bring any upacharam for performing archana except Ghee and jasmine. When adiyen approached the archagar to perform archanao - i was asked "whether i have any Upacharam to be offerred for performing archana" when i told him - what i was informed while booking the ofering ... he was telling me that "if you offer for Thaligai it is only for Thaligai - and you have to bring upacharam for archana and all separately. The people in the office - when approached were very reckless in answering - but were in a hurry to ask me whether prasadam shall be distributed at the Koshti fully or whether such shall be given back to me fully!!! I felt very bad on the behaviour (sorry to say this here) and advised them to distribute entire thing in the Koshti after satrumurai . Then one archagar was kind enough to tell me that int his temple... lots of property is there - which is misused and the Koil office also does not care to inform PUBLIC the real formalities and the facilities. etc. etc. I had great darshan and felt I was blessed. But becoz of lack of info. from the temple authorities - i was made to run back for procuring Upacharams like coconut - fruits, etc. for archanai - apart from paying for Thaligai. NO matter to buy - If i was informed properly - i need not have run here and there and feel bit shame ... While intimating to one of the officer at the Temple Office, he was simply smiling at me and said it is all sagajam here...... adiyen
