Dear all,

I know people who could divine the vastu of your house from your chart

and Dasa.

Some people say that " As per you dasa, you should be living in this

kind of house and since you are not living there, you are getting into

problems" which ofcourse, does not seem very authentic but still

thought provoking.

I request the members to please share their thoughts and information

whether there are any schools of thought on this issue, websites,

books etc.

Thank you in anticipation,

Dear Kishore,

BHPS and Prasna Marga is good source. It tells about direction of different elements in Vastu structure. It is seen by seeing the Kona in Bindu-Ashtakavarga. The kona with most points is good direction in specific area (Mangal-kitchen, Jupiter-puja room). East is fiery signs, North is watery signs, South is airy signs, South is earthy signs.

You mean to say the Rasi occupied by the planets with higher BAV. Now which direction will you consider, one indicated by Rasi itself or by the bhava this Rasi occupies. I would prefer the second option as relative position of BAV seldom changes with Lagna.

However, I feel that general principles of Vastu work well much better than the Feng-Shui principles. But the concept you talk about too shouldn't be ignored. I did some study 3 years back on correlation of Horoscope and Vastu which I left incomplete for want of reliable data. It requires further research.

dear friend,

But it basically should depend upon one's dashas since one keep

changing the residence.

I tried to figure it out the way you have told but it did not work. On

the other hand, the 3rd house indicates the neighbours and from the

same, I tried to see the occupations of my neighbours. I fell flat on

my nose!

Dear Kishore,

What didnt work? The bindoos indicate the auspicious direction - not the actual. If You want to see dasas of bad Vastu then "Jyotish Fundamentals" by Visti Larsen has something to say in this regard..

Dear Rafal,

I will repeat my question:

There seems to be a way to find out about the vastu of the house you

are living in, by only taking a look at your Chart.

Since we keep changing the houses from time to time, I deduced that

this kind of divination should depend upon your Dasas.

I have asked the group whether they have any clue of the websites or

books that help us learn this system.

Meanwhile, as an aside, I have tried to find out about my neighbours

by looking at my 3rd house, as an exercise and what I could see did

not tally with the reality.

So, there must be other ways of doing it.

In fact, I remember a post in this forum exactly describing the

neighbourhood of a native by looking at the chart. When quizzed how

it was possible, the poster had cryptically replied that he has done

it from the LalKitab.

In any case, I feel such divination is possible and I request the

group may pleae help me in finding out the same.
