lagnadhipati venus exalted in 6th house

hello everyone,

 

i am an astrology newbie from bombay, india. i had two specific

questions relating to my chart that i hope to get cleared. it's

possible the themes i discuss have been addressed before. if so,

kindly let me know where i might find the material.

 

first: the lagna is libra and lagnadhipati venus is exalted and

vargottam in pisces -- in the 6th house. lagna lord in 6th is not

usually considered auspicious, but pisces being the exaltation sign

and venus being 8th lord in 6th as well -- how would all that add

up? is it auspicious? venus's shadbala is 311, below the 330 that it

needs to be strong.

 

second: my moon is dark, waning at 12* from the sun in aquarius. it

is conjunct within a degree of mercury and so defeated in planetary

war as well. however, in the navamsa mercury and moon land up in

pisces where mercury is debilitated. so can the moon really be said

to be "defeated"? in terms of shadbala, the moon scores a healthy

548, way above the 360 point strength threshold, making it the

second strongest planet after the sun in terms of shadbala. mercury

scores 407, 420 being its threshold.

1.Libra is a good lagna.

2.Lagna lord and 8th lord is same - venus - these people are likely to commit mistakes knowingly - out of sheer overconfidence .

3. Venus is 8th lord posited in 6th - is Vipareetha raja yoga. It is good.

4.Venus exalted and vargothama - it is powerful.

5. Any palnet even if lagna lord when connected to 6th ,8th or 12th - lthe strength of lagna get reduced.

One must take care in predictive part.- while interpreting the D/B/A periods of Venus and transit of venus when interacting with other planets.

In predicitve part - remmber - no planet work in isolation - at any given time we get a package deal of all planets.

thank you for your observations. so i might conclude that even with

exaltion+vargottam status and a vipareetha rajayoga, some weakness

is bound to be there in venus?

 

could you also make a comment on the moon as well?

 

i read in the classics (saravali, bphs) that the native partakes of

the qualities of the strongest planet in terms of shadbala. could

you comment on that please? does it mean that with sun or moon

strongest the native would possess leadership ability and attain to

leadership positions, with saturn strongest the native would be more

comfortable in subordinate roles and so on?

Are malefic considered good in upchaya sthana or even good in 8/12 houses?
