Guest guest
Dear devotees, Humble obeisances. Jaya Srila Prabhupada. Is the liberated jiva "omniscient" in any way, either after self-realization within his/her body, or after videha-mukti? The Brahma-sUtra pradIpAdhikaraNa (4.4.15-16) seems to declare the omniscience of the liberated jiva. What kind of omniscience is this? Srila Baladeva's bhASya doesn't clarify. As far as I understand, the liberated jiva's "omniscience" is w.r.t its svabhAva only. The jiva becomes full with knowledge based on its capacity. It has metaphysical omniscience. By realizing its constitutional relationship with Parabrahman, everything else it needs is known. And there is tAratamya among jiva-s in mokSa. Is this correct? Gratefully, Carl
Guest guest
I suppose even govinda bhasya says that the Jivas knowledge is infinite and same as Paramatma after liberation. Wrt Anutva of the jiva and its omniscience ,ramanuja system has a wonderful answer explained thro Dharma bhoota jnanam of the jiva which is the svabhava of the jiva and that this DBJ expands to infinity after liberation. However by svaroopa they are always Anu.. But paramatma is Vibhu by svaroopa itself! http://www.ramanuja.org/sv/bhakti/archives/feb98/0044.html Please refer the above article for details!
