I still get your email notices every now and then....sounds like you're in

ecstatic Krsna consciousness. Keep up the good work!

Dear Maharajas & prabhus,

Please accept my humble obeisances.

All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

In 2004 my wife and I embarked on a project to record the

books of various Gaudiya Vaisnava acaryas. We completed

five tiles that year, four in 2005, and recently completed

our first this year, "Readings from Jaiva Dharma, Part One."

Jaiva Dharma, an epic written in the form of a novel by

Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura, discusses the entire range of

Gaudiya Vaisnava philosophy. Through characters in the book,

Bhaktivinoda brings out a wide variety of concepts, not only

Gauidya Vaisnavism, but material science, Islam, and

Sociology, among other topics.

Our recording consists of Chapters 23-25: Nama-tattva,

Namaparadha, and Namabhasa. An example of how Bhaktivinoda

weaves philosophy into the story is revealed in the

following questions by the character Vijay-kumara,

who inquires from a saintly babaji:

Vijaya-kumara:

O master, how are namabhasa and namaparadha different?

What should a person who is chanting namabhasa do to

turn his namabhasa chanting into suddha-nama (the pure

chanting of the holy name)?

O master, in this world there are many devotees who are

on the platform of Vaisnavabhasa. They have outward

markings of a Vaisnava and they diligently chant the

holy name although their chanting is on the level

of namabhasa. Even though they chant, after many days

they still do not attain pure love for Lord Krsna

(krsna-prema). Why is that?

The babaji's answers to these inquiries are too long

to include in this short email. However, if these questions

catch your interest, why not read the book? And if the summer

weather is keeping you active, always out and about, why

not check out our audiobooks? If you have an mp3 player you

can listen while doing just about anything...puja, cooking,

laundry, driving, riding on buses, trains, or planes, etc.

We've tried our best to create interesting renditions, with

background music of all kinds.

To see our list of titles go to http:/www.sadhusanga.com

click on "Complete List" to see them all, or click

"Choose An Author" and click Bhaktivinoda Thakura for our

latest production. All our audiobooks can be downloaded

directly from the internet, or you can purchase a CD disc

and it will be mailed directly to you from our e-partner

Associate with sadhus through hearing!

Your servant,

Dhruva Maharaja dasa
