Guest guest
She is the wife of Sadasiva. Sadasiva is the fifth of the Five Brahmas, and the husband of the Powers or Saktis known as Sri Rajarajeshwari, Syamala [Matangi; Meenakshi; Mantrini; etc.], Asvarudha, and the Others Who are all Her so many forms. Hence She is described here as Sadasiva's wife. Since Sadasiva is also known as Paramasiva, the name indicates that She is His wife and the Matriarch of His family; i.e. that She is the Wife and Mother of All Creation. - Dr. C. Suryanarayana Murthy, Commentary on the Sri Lalita Sahasranama, 1962 , "NMadasamy" <ashwini_puralasamy wrote: > > > sadAsivakutumbini : Wife of SadAsiva > > This may mean the deities SyAmalA, SuddhavidyA, AsvArudhA etc. > > > > > BhAskararAya's Commentary > Translated into English by R.
