Guest guest
Dear SrEvaishNavites, I thank you one and all for having patiently seen the badri pictures. These are some small things which i thought I should share with you. thanks and regards adiyEan rAmAnuja dAsan vanamamalai padmanabhan snippets on Badri yAthrA The pictures on the Badri yAtrA http://www.pbase.com/svami/kshetradanammay2006 1. panith thalai vEzha nin-vAsal kadi paRRi: The space between the main entrance of the shrine and the prakaram do not have shelter. The dew drops/snow/rain is constantly falling down and people have to wait for the great vision of the Lord. This is exactly reflecting the thiruppAvai pAsuram 'panith thalai vEzha nin vAsal kadai pathi' thirupAvai 12; During our waiting a family recited two chapters of Srimadh Bhagawadh GEthA 4th and 5th. while adiyEan recited aruLich cheyal. This family appeared to be from UP and even the children recited and I was impressed of the Great krshNa bakthi. 2. On the bheem phUl adiyEan asked a little boy how does one confirm that this the saraswathi river. The innocent lad pointed the board 'saraswathi' written in hindi. God bless these innocent lads. 3. the vyAs guphA is not alone. It is neighboured by a tea shop. This is called the India's last tea shop. a few kms away is tibet border. 4. A boy at the place we stayed , on receiving some money (Rs20) fell at my feet. God bless the innocence. what should we say for this? 5. We had the privilege of attending sahasranAma sevai at 6.30 pm ( Rs 301 and 2 persons can participate). The wonderful thing is all the people participating can recite sahasranAmam at EmperumAn's sannidhi. This gives immense satisfaction to one and all, eleders, ladies children no distinction whatsoever. Would it not be nice, to arrange such participation in our temples ? say amalanAdhip pirAn sevai, kaNNinuN siRuthAmbu sEVai or vulagam vuNDa peruvAyA seVai? However, will our protocol permit this? In fact, this sahasramam participation of all, i presume is a path -breaking one. 6.When we visited the Sriman NArAyaNa jEyar matam, we could observe the gentleman - the archakar of the kalayAna venkatesap perumAL- teaching sandhai to a woman thriupaLLi yezhuchi-both were having the aruLich cheyal in telugu script. Height of sincerity in the height of cold mountains! adiyEan rAmAnuja dAsan vanamamalai padmanabhan
