Guest guest
Dear Linda: Linda wrote: "It is only when you experience yourself as the hollow reed, the empty vessel, that the passageway is clear for the true Energy of Existence to become available." As you noted Lindaji, Big Swami emphasized this dynamic in his Day 2 Tacoma, WA 2006 satsang. It is instructive to see you allude to playing music. Recently I have experimented with singing bhajans with the thought that Amma is singing THROUGH me. It can make the vocalization more effective. The gist of Big Swami's pov (posted earlier) makes the claim that if you do any action with the bhava I AM NOT THE DOER then the action itself becomes more efficient. Does anyone think great musicians do a lot of thinking when jamming on a stage? Do masters of any craft flow trance like or feel self evident in the act of performance? If one serves with love and a feeling of non-doer-ship one's performance gets enhanced. May we become a hollow Reed in Amma/Krishna's sacred hands.
