Guest guest
Dear Friends, This year's Ratha Yatra festival in Belfast will be on Sunday 25 June. The Ratha Yatra festival has been held in Puri, India, for centuries and is now held in cities throughtout the world. It's an opportunity for all the city to see Krishna in his broadly smiling form of Lord Jagannatha. The parade will start at Writers Square (opposite St Annes Cathedral) at 12.30 pm and then proceed through the city centre ending at the Indian Community Centre at approximately 3pm where there will be entertainments including music, drama, and bharata-natyam (classical Indian) dance. This will all be followed up with a sumptuous vegetarian feast. It's a great opportunity for us all to meet again. Hope to see you there.
