Guest guest
Hi Das, The sanskrit term "mumukshu [mumuk^shu]" stands for "the one who desires liberation". Guest guest
Upaaska is not seeker. Upaasak is a person who does Upasana. Upasana refers to using natural phenonmenon as an aid to meditation upon the Truth. Guest guest
Namaste Bharat. Exactly I meant same. My analogy, is when one performs Upasana or meditate upon deeply, what they aspire is to understand, realise or feel intensely. In other words approximately, they seek inner truth or divine thru their austirity and penance. Radha made upasana of Krishna inorder to get him or can we say she was seeking him....hence did upasana.......... I felt otherwise, sadhaka or sadhana is connected with achieving mastery................. .............Perhaps I am not able to understand what you are telling ...............Sorry, if I am not making any sence. Regards. - Bharat Hindu Astrology valist June 17, 2006 13:24 Re: What is "seeker" in Sanskrit please Upaaska is not seeker. Upaasak is a person who does Upasana.
