Guest guest
In Calcutta, where under Srila Prabhupada's guidance his disciples had organized Lord Jagannatha's rathayatra on the same day as in Puri, Srila Prabhupada was once told that some of his disciples were going to Puri for rathayatra. Srila Prabhupada responded, "Why don't they go to my rathayatra?" I was told this, many years ago, by Adridharan dasa, ex-TP ISKCON Calcutta. Can anyone confirm this or add any details? If verified, it might be food for thought for the many ISKCON devotees who go to Puri for rathayatra, even though ISKCON-organized rathayatras are held in their cities on the same day.
