Guest guest
Dear Bhagavatas, Please permit me to say a few words, and forgive me for all my ignorance: There is just ONE way of interpreting the question and that is: " kim japan muchyate jantur janma samsaara bandhanaat ". Our ONLY goal should be to get out of this samsaara bandhanaas and reach the Holy Feet of our Achaarya in Sri Vaikuntham. and even if we reach the Brahma loka, still, as Bhagavaan Sri Krishna said: "Abrahma bhuvanAn lokAn punarAvrittinOrjuna mAmupetyati kaunteya punarjanmanavidyate". If we come back, we have to go through, again and again, as Bhagavaan Sri Krishna said " jAtasyahi dhruvO mruthyuh dhruvam janma mrutasyacha ... " and once we take another birth, there are these FOUR inevitable asubhams waiting for us " janma, mrutyu, jaraa, vyaadhi .." and the ONLY way we can avoid the four inevitable asubhams is: " na Vaasudeva bhaktaanaam asubham vidyate kwachit - janma mrutyu jaraa vyaadhi bhyam na upajaayate ". Since practising Bhakti yooga is much beyond even our comprehension, let us do bhara-samarpaNam ( SaraNaagati ) by first approaching an AchArya, as advised by Bhagavaan Sri Karishna: "tatvidhi pranipAtena pariprasnena sevaya upadEkshyanti te jnAnam jnAninah tatvadarsinah" and when are blessed by our Achaarya with that jnaanam, let us be as what the Supreme Lord Said: "bahunAm janmanAmante jnAnavAn mAm paradyate vAsudEvah sarvamiti samahAtmA sudurlabhah ". therefore, for a prapanna, Bhagavaan Sri Vaasudeva is sarvam and let us keep doing His kaimkaryam until this soul reaches Sri Vaikuntham. adiyen, Srimad Azhagiyasingar Thiruvadi, venkat kanumalla. wrote: Dear Members, The following is Yudhishtiras question to the grandsire Bhisma, Ko dharma sarva dharmãnam bhavatha paramo mathaha Kim japan muchyathé janthur janma samsãra bandhanãth In how many different folds can we understand this to the present world situation? Guest guest
Dear Bhagavatars Permit me to express my ignorance openly so that i stand to gain from all the Bhagavatars. The Acharya says at a later stage in Geeta, "We had many births Arjuna. The difference is that you do not remember any whereas I have forgotten none" or to that effect. Thus the cycle of birth and death is inevitable and fulfils the actual scheme of things. Given that this is the Eternal Grand Scheme, the only Liberation we can seek is from the `jantur janma' by practicing a suitable `japan' to gain freedom from `samsaara bandhanaat' that otherwise lowers the status of the present life. This samsaara bhandanat is not limited to a particular single episode of the ever repeating gross life and death cycle but attachment to ignorance even as one's physical world is crumbling and disintegrating. I am also reminded of how in this Eternal Scheme, no life form is low or mean as revealed by the many forms the Devotees assume (Gajendra for example) and as does The Redeemer ( the various Avataarams for example). So also the our acharya is no other than the representation of The Acharya even if we fail to see Sankhu, Chakra, Gadha and Padma adoring the representative acharya in physical shape and form. Submitting to a Guru is submitting to the ONE whom the Guru represents. Finally, an unliberated man is an animal and a liberated animal is a Bhagavataar.
