How is Sri Jyoti Star

I like "Sri Jyoti Star". It works well and the interface seems quite

flexible and intuitive. Updates for a particular version are offered

for free on his site for registered owners.

 

I have found the transits circle chart screen with its ability to

graphically plot various aspects very useful. It is easy to look at an

upcoming transit and link it to the running dashas. Or you can check

back in time and verify what was happening in the stars against what

the native experienced at that time. It is good for research in that way.

 

A similar circle format can be used in synastry to compare two charts

and see "hits", direct aspects or conjunctions. Lots of freedom to

choose whether one chart being compared is a varga, or even both, so

one can compare Navamsa connections very easily.

 

15 pages of charts, graphs, etc. can be customized, populated with

different windows, and toggled through easily - good navigation.
