When two debilitated planets aspects each other, then also it is neechabhanga raja yoga. So Rahu in Scorpio will cause sudden reversal of the neecha effects for some mysterious reasons. Since my joining SJC I have come across different texts showing debilitation of kethu as Gemini and Rahu as Saggitarius etc. Unknowingly I went into my old style, old habits never die. If it is in the 7th house and without any benefic aspects, it is a definite indication of amorous connections with a person of other castes (inter-caste marriage). This placement is not actually very adverse in a male horoscope according to traditional beliefs. The person will be an agnostic (does not follow one's religious customs and is research-oriented rather than belief- oriented in religious matters). The wife of such a man may suffer from troubles of reproductive system. The native will be tempted to taste costly dishes of various varieties and will be a lover of pomp and luxury in every form. The person may be prone to diabetes. He may be lured towards occult practices or may sometimes become a victim of these. Such a person will stand to benefit from Raahu kaalam which is generally believed to be bad for auspicious works! Again, they will not be affected much by poisonous bites. Some of these natives are very good at chanting mantraas to remove poison from bites of snakes. To avert the disastrous effects of Rahu in the 7th, there are certain techniques..... 1) Rahu denotes S.W direction. So, if the person marries a spouse from Southwest direction, Raahu will not harm the marital prospects because the spouse vibrates to his signification. 2) it is best for the maternal grandfather of the native to initiate the marriage proceedings. 3) Worship of Vana Durga will ensure that the marital life is good and also bestow some useful siddhis to this native. Now, regarding the aspect of Jupiter on Rahu.......Jupiter's aspect is definitely a moderator of any malefic effect. Moreso in this case where both are friends to each other (With due respect to Sanjayji, I differ from his views that Jupiter does not like Rahu.....They are mutual friends actually according to our traditions.) Jupiter takes away the poisonous effects of Rahu. In fact, that is the nature of Jupiter - it has the tendency to neutralize any malefic effect. But, in such events, it loses its auspicious quality. Thus, when Jupiter aspects Rahu, Rahu will bestow very beneficial results, but Jupiter's good effects will be reduced (Jupiter does not become malefic.....it just loses its auspicious strength). Due to Jupiter's aspect, the native may even have an orthodox marriage according to his/her customs. The research-orientation of the mind will be directed along proper guidelines (Rahu gives research oriented mind...but, that will be a free-form type where the person wants to analyze everything threadbare unnecessarily without any regard to conventions and necessities. They will want to even test proven truths by their own methods again and again which is pointless! Jupiter's aspect on Raahu will definitely make the person to direct research along purposeful lines instead of empty philosophizing). If Rahu aspects Jupiter on the other hand, the native may be heterodox in attitude; their religious beliefs will be in sharp contrast to the beliefs of senior members of their families. Kshetras same, Moolatrikona as Rahu (Virgo) and Kethu (Pisces) and exaltation Rahu (Gemini) and Kethu (Saggitarius) and debilitation just opposite. I am totally confused on this and had posted my doubt in the forum earlier and nobody responded. I think it is prudent to follow BPHS. Vrichigas owner mars also to be considered, if mars is in kataka, mars is debilatted,and the moon is in mesham forms a neechabanga rajayogam and parivartana maha yogam. then one more aspect to be consider with respect to Bhava chart, the same Rahu is moved to Dhanu, so as per rasi predition and bhava also to be considered, The impact of Bhava chart is significant.
