Guest guest
I'm wondering if anyone has attended the teacher apprenticeship at Purple valley yoga centre in Goa, India? It is a 3 week program, and sounds amazing, but it is pretty $$. Or has anyone attended one of the retreats or drop-in classes there? Any reviews would be much appreciated! Thanks! Guest guest
The training I did at Purple valley was the six week program and from talking with many people who have done various trainings around the world..this was a wonderful training. Firstly, it was wonderful to actually practice and do the training in India. Secondly, Julie was a true yogi in every sense and really gave us a solid foundation for teaching (although it is highly recommended to do some type of an apprenticeship following the training). Thirdly, Purple Valley attracts some of the best teachers from around the world and we were able to practice, observe, and work directly with them. It also is well known in ashtanga communities around the world (I've found work very easily) And lastly, it was really just one of the best experiences of my life. If you have any other questions, totally feel free to ask me..I'm in Mysore right now, but I'll be back in Israel next week. Take care..
