Guest guest
Self Induced Fog Having been stupefied by the violence and insensitivity of their familial harsh-holds, they sought refuge in their dreams, such dreams as they could hold communally, with others, equally traumatized, like themselves. For all things seek their own level. And they, in turn, stupedied each other as they themselves had been stupefied. And even while holding each other at safe and remote distances, they called this communion, a toke, a glass of wine, a hit of acid, a line of coke or of poetry, a dose of romanticism, true religion, a literary bent, an artistic temperament. An enlightened radicality, a nondualistic nonevent. A study in the mystery of life. But they called their common dreams reality. Even though, upon the slightest examination, none held a dream remotely like any other's. And really, all they wanted was comfort and companionship while remaining solitary and well protected.
