Dear Durga, Subal and everyone ~ I know I have already read some of these

posts and responded to them, but it seems I have more to say. As I was looking

at the picture of Shiva on the Shiva Puja Beginner, preparing to recite the

Shiva Chalisa, I looked again, as I have looked many times, at the small head

at the top of Shiva's top knot. I have wondered about this head for a long

time. Who is it?, I wondered. And then I saw the water coming from the mouth of

the figure and, "gong," well, doh!, of course, it is Ganga. Sometimes it

takes me awhile to put all these things together, but when I do it is always

wonderful.
