Many years ago no one could foresee Narayan Maharaja's destructive influence on ISKCON either. Are you expecting that someone produce a glass ball to satisfy you that someone who has rejected his guru and embraces apsiddhantic theories is in a position to "help" devotees, despite the fact that he doesn't specifically teach this theory in his class? How can anyone working from such a faulty basis offer anything helpful? How many times must the term "milk touched by the lips of a serpent" be spoken until it is accepted? And finally, show me ONE SINGLE QUOTE where Prabhupada or any of our previous acaryas promote or recommend the use of modern psychological tools to assist one develop Krishna consciousness. I am waiting.... Your servant, Braja Sevaki dd
Guest guest
Braja Sevika, I wanted to clarify the point that he doesn't teach ritvik in his seminars because that is what people were saying. That isn't true. I also expressed a personal observation. I have friends I am close to who have taken his course and are as loyal to their gurus as they were before they took the course. I can see that you are concerned that his association is deterimental becasue of his stand on guru tattva. That is a justifiable concern, no doubt. I only made the point that I haven't personally seen that play out, and there are more devotees here who have taken his courses than anywhere else. This doesn't make what he is doing right or wrong. How can anyone working from such a faulty basis offer anything helpful? Again I have seen him personally help many gurukulis who have been abused and other's who have had severe emotional problems. And finally, show me ONE SINGLE QUOTE where Prabhupada or any of our previous acaryas promote or recommend the use of modern psychological tools to assist one develop Krishna consciousness. I am waiting.... The use of pyschology may never assist one in becoming KC directly, but it can help people deal with deep emotional issues which in turn may create more stablility in their lives and enable them to practice KC better. > > As far as I know and have personally seen, guru tattva is not spoken of > > in his seminars.
