An Appeal- This has an interesting matter about thirumala

Dear members,

 

Gaddam Tatha Desikan, one of the spritual leaders in Sri Vaishnavisim, had done tirtha kainkaryam for Thirumalai Sri Srinivasa Perumal. Under the order of Lord Sri Srinivasa Perumal of Thirumala, Gaddam Tatha Desikan had constructed a temple in 1212 AD in Elanagar. In the ongoing years many acharya purushas born and lived in this villege and done samashnathigal.

Another important thing about this villege is, the purvashrama of 7 azhagiyashingars of Sri Ahobila Math is Elanagar.

 

In the recent years the brahamanis of this villege had went may parts of the world in search of work and the this temple has become almost gone.

But we didnt give up.

Elanagar koil was recently renovated. We are in search of rasing funds for daily aradhana and maintenance which was done by ELANAGAR SRI SRINIVASA PERUMAL KAIKARIYA TRUST(Regd). The age of this temple is around 9 centuries. The full history of this temple can be viewed in http://www.elanagarkoil.org
