I am enclosing a note from Dr.P.N.Sridharan , Honorary Secretary of Malolan Educational Trust and the attachment ( Invitation for you to participate in a special Recognition event for the Top Rankers

in the State of Tamil Naadu ( KumAri Kaavya and others ) and their Teachers in the recent state wide examinations .

Many of you have generously supported the planning of such an event and have sent in funds

for redressing the grievances caused by the unacceptable behavior of the Tamil Naadu Government . Thank you all for your most welcome support .

Dear All Sanskrit AbhimAnis :

As it happened in the previous years, the students of our Sri Ahobila Muth Oriental School, West Mambalam have come out in colours in the recently announced results of Tamil Nadu +2 and OSLC examinations. However, their superior performance was eclipsed/not recognized by the Department since their language of study is not Tamil (they took Sanskrit as their language). Many within India and Abroad have expressed displeasure for this treatment and taken up the issue for wider discussion. Finally it was the collective decision to motivate this performance separately and I was given the responsibility to take this forward.

I had the privilege of communicating the results to our revered HH Srimat Azhagiyasingar during his sancharam and also the feelings of many Astikas and Sanskrit Abhimanis. He felt very happy and was also spontaneous in directing the sisyas, abhimanis and me to initiate a scheme to reward the best academic performance and to recognize the teachers who enabled the students to attain such ranks, with cash prizes. From then the entire effort for the past three weeks by many has resulted into an award ceremony for which an invitation is attached.

We are happy to announce the following awards and the recipients :
