Guest guest Posted June 20, 2006 Report Share Posted June 20, 2006 Hello, I just found out about ky and have begun practicing it on my own over the last week. I have serious anxiety problems that I deal with the best I can. This is why I am attempting to change my lifestyle and practice ky yoga and meditation. I am a bit worried about meditating. I actually entered into what i believe was a meditative state yesterday and after 11 minutes my alarm went off and instead of feeling calmer i felt scared. Scared to be in an altered state of consciousness. My anxiety started as a result of drug use and I believe this is why I'm so afraid to let my mind go someplace else. But I think I can tame this and hopefully obtain more of a free mind through meditation. I'm really searching for happiness and peace. I hope ky can help me. Any thoughts or opinions?
