Guest guest
Sat Nam! The practice of Yoga Nidra is a very useful tool for reaching the Delta state in which subconscious impressions may be released and old thoughts that are not serving you, renewed.Yoga Nidra is a state that is very relaxing, but is also used by Yogis to purify the Samskaras, the deep impressions (subconscious) that are the driving force behind Karma. You may then set intentions (Sankalpa) for your life as you enter this deeply relaxing state. The practice of Yoga Nidra may also be used to aid insomnia and anxiety; as a way to fall asleep or deeply relax the subconscious mind. As your practice deepens you will enter the Delta State, hovering in the effortlessness of deep sleep with a subtle awareness as you empty the mind and heart center. Blessings in Health! Guest guest
Dear Guru Ravi, Many of us would benefit from how to do the Yoga Nidra. How should I release old thoughts which are not serving any purpose (a state in which I am in right now) through Yoga Nidra. Do I set an intention "I want to release ......" before I sleep. Guest guest
This is an excellent source: C:\Documents and Settings\dpearce\Local Settings\Temp\Yoga Nidra.htm Explains the different mental states thoroughly.
