Guest guest
Sat Nam! I am pasting a short excerpt from a personal e-mail concerning Ayurvedic herbs I recommended, just to clarify a few things. The recommendation I made was for a specific person that has been e-mailing me off list. Ayurvedic herbs have been used safely for thousands of years but it is important with any alternative health care system to have a qualified doctor or practitioner advise you before putting yourself on a regime of herb supplementation. The exerpt is as follows: " My concerns about the other two(herbs) are these: with respect to guduchi, it sounded like it was for illness, "primarily used in acute infection.".... and the Shardunka apparently raises insulin levels. I thought the problem with hypoglycemics, like myself, is that they have too much insulin to begin with. " This information did not come from me but was copied from some other resource on the internet about certain Ayurvedic hebs. Herbs in combination with other herbs have different affects. As with all medicine of an energetic nature there are many ways a constituent works and not just with the physical body. Just wanted to clear that up as others may have misunderstood the message, also. The question concerning the three herbs was addressed to me but someone else answered it, that may be where the confusion stemmed from. Blessings in Health!
