Guest guest
.... is pretty much the same as that of being a psychotherapist! Just having received all the training of being a therapist and experienced it for years does not really rid one of their biases and prejudices but just (hopefully?) allows one to have better control over those biases and to manage those constructively! Constructively, for their clients and consumers! The same burden lies on the shoulders of the jyotishi -- the amateur but dedicated one or professional one or that remaining other one! Seeing all this furore and fire and emotions and anger and so on, on jyotish forums, little wonder that there is concern and uncertainty resplendent all over the place. If one cannot manage their biases, they have no business claiming that they are dedicated astrologers and out here to help humanity! Adversity is the only test of one's mettle! How you behave and react when facing adversity, and there are many shapes and styles of adversity -- is what determines your suitability. And it is not about one or five responses of yours but the overall picture! Sometimes -- what comes across or gets considered as our "buttons" are really not! We live in a very difficult time! Like it or not, our realities of many years are being challenged! I am glad my chair broke! I have no more excuse to remain sitting down! Guest guest
It is just the rate of change, RRji, which can be treated either as frightening or as exhilarating, its just so fast over the last two or three decades, we, ofcourse, a privileged generation to live through these rapidly changing perceptions. For, only the perception changes, the realities are neither being challenged nor changed.. And even as perceptions change, its only their outer form, the core or substance survives the transformation. It is the same with Jyotish in my opinion. regards rishi , "crystal pages" <jyotish_vani wrote: > > ... is pretty much the same as that of being a psychotherapist!
