Guest guest Posted June 17, 2006 Report Share Posted June 17, 2006 Dear Pt Arjun, astrologers must expose the fakes from real ones and say the ones who are doing this are not astrologers and they must not seek short cuts to fame and attract the gullible for their dire forecasts. and anytime Gochare is one of the elements in astrological readings and needs to be supported by Dasa, ashtakavarga and Shadbalas for GOOD or Bad. and all of you please write in regular press also about such things so that the believers are educated of the real scene and gullible are protected. and ALSO THE WARNING PEOPLE WHO MAKE MONEY FROM MISERY OF OTHERS WILL EARN more bad karma. will pay for it sometime in this life need not wait till next life. Guest guest Posted June 17, 2006 Report Share Posted June 17, 2006 dear prafulla ji as you rightly observed, these TV shows are more to sensationalise the event with such catchy titles. if an astrologer charges money there is no wrong in it. however he shall not scare away the natives by projecting the worst ahead and also baseless generalised prediction like world war or doomsday and then sell kavachs. i always preached and practiced that an astrologer is like a doctor. while a doctor deals with physical ailments, an astrologer finds the mental or planetary problems the native is suffering and suggest remedial measure for those planets. a healer even finds the invisible problems like evils etc. however, to sell kavachs for world war and mythical planetary fights in the skies is a bad karma. for example, in a promotional show of Sony TV, an astrologer with surname shreemali was telling the audience how powerful an ekmukh rudraksha is and HE ADDED BY SAYING THAT A EK MUKH RUDRAKSHA HAVING THE SERPENT SYMBOL ON IT IS THE RAREST. all rudraksha sellers in the world know that suck snake and other symbols on a rudraksha are fake. if a street hawker is selling a fake product it can be discounted as bad karma and only gullibles visit him, but if the same is promoted by a TV show that too endorsed by an astrologer, it is bad karma. with best wishes pandit arjun , Prafulla Gang <jyotish wrote: > > Dear Mr Kumar > > Look at different perspective of the subject. You mean to say, when a doctor comes to an astrologer under severe difficulties, astrologer must not charge say rs one lakh for the moment. and when same astrologer visits the doctor for major surgery, doctor charges Rs one lakh.
