Dear Shekar ji,

 

>From my understanding in my chart - Venus is aspected by Rahu and

Conjoined by Mars hence a curse from spouse/female and in my wife's

chart Venus is aspected by Rahu and Saturn (again natural malefics)

hence again a curse. I assume that is what the learned refered to.
