Namaste Linda and All,

Yes - today is the beginning of Summer Navarathri.

Nava means 9 and Ratri means Night -- So we celebrate 9 nights (and days!) of worship of

Divine Mother 4 times a year - Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. Now it is summer

navaratri.

Please visit www.shreemaa.org to read more!

You can take any sankalpa to deepen your relationship with Divine Mother. E..g., reading

Chandi book. It is very auspicious to say Durga Mantra "Om Hrim Shrim Dum Durgayai

Namaha" -- So a nice sankalpa to take is to promise Divine Mother that you will say this

mantra a specific number of times every day or within the 9 days.

Hope we can all enjoy this celebration of the presence in our lives of our Divine Mother!

Jai Maa!
