Predicting Marriage through Narayan Dasha

Dear Visti-Ji, Rafal-Ji and Learned Members, Namaste,

 

I have been going through a big number of marriage cases, in order

to refine my understanding regarding the prediction of the same.

 

Regarding Narayan Dasha kindly check and correct my understanding in

the following;

 

* Marriage will occur in the Narayan Mahadasha ONLY IF,

 

a) The Mahadasha rashi is itself associated with marriage

(7th.house, UL and/or A7) and

b) taking dasha rashi as lagna there should be links pointing to

mariage as; association between Dasha Lagna, Natal Lagna, 7th. house

from dasha lagna, 7th. house from natal lagna, UL and A7. (E.g.

dasha lagna lord in UL, or 7th. lord in UL or 7th. lord in dasha

lagna or dasha lagna lord associating with dasha 7th. lord etc.)

* Also taking dasha rashi as lagna, 7th. house and A7, UL should be

strong, e.g. lords strong and well placed.

* If Mahadasha Rashi is not thus promising marriage, then any of the

antardashas is not expected to give results in this direction.

 

As a separate question: When UL is in 12th. from Dasha Rashi, is

this a negative indication regarding marriage?

Dear Gilbert, Namaskar

 

You have given many options; however, truly the only thing you should be

looking for is the association of Venus or Ketu with dasa rasi. This works

consistently in most cases. In a few cases the bhaya rasi confirms the

marriage instead of the dasa rasi, as the relationship has gone on for a

long time and only manifests outwardly through a marriage-celebration later

on.

 

In the rarest of cases, remedies done to ward of a delay in marriage will

not show up in the natal chart, but in a prasna chart instead. Hence, in

consultations it becomes important for the astrologer to confirm their

prediction in a prasna.
