Guest guest
Dear Yaduraja Prabhu, PAMHO. AGTSP! > But the letter to Kirtanananda I posted clearly says "on my behalf" In January 1969 Srila Prabhupada wrote a letter to Kirtanananda saying "to initiate" without saying "on my behalf", and four years later he wrote him a letter saying "on my behalf" without saying "to initiate". You should not pick some words from each letter and fabricate the phrase "to initiate on my behalf". That would be ludicrous. In case it was not clear: I meant Srila Prabhupada's letter to Hamsaduta written on Dec 3, 1968 and Srila Prabhupada's letter to Kirtanananda written on Jan 12, 1969. The proof that these two letters referred to disciples initiating their own disciples is Srila Prabhupada's meticulous nature. If by "to initiate" he had not meant "to initiate one's own disciples", but something never mentioned before, then he would have written that in these two letters. > If your position is that Srila Prabhupada issued two contradictory > instructions, one allowing the possibility of his disciples initiating in > his presence ('by 1975'), the other outlawing it (the law of disciplic > succession'), then you are still defeated as explained in my last post. So is following your position? If one said, "Srila Prabhupada said that his disciples can make their own disciples and at the same time said that it is the etiquette they do not do so in his presence", then one would be saying that Srila Prabhupada issued two contradictory instructions. I already asked you this question in my previous text. If you don't understand it, please tell me. If you answer it with "no" or don't answer it, then I see no reason why I should concede defeat. > You are completely defeated. Is this a proof of your claims? If not, why are you saying it? Your claim that Srila Prabhupada's letter to Hamsaduta on Dec 3, 1968 could only be referring to disciples initiating on his behalf is unproven since 14 days. Please follow Srila Prabhupada instruction and at once back up your claim by quotes. ys Ramakanta dasa
