Guest guest
A line from the Guru Gita regarding the Gurus, "They are in harmony with their own soul", jumped out yesterday morning. One of those lines that says `hey come back and read me again'. The Gurus are in harmony with their own soul. This is the example of our Gurus. Sounds very good to me and exciting to think that our natural state is to be in harmony with our own souls. That is my goal. By the way, now I cannot find this verse so if anyone does, please post the number so I can reference it again. Thanks. Last night at a class by the fire Swamiji was discussing the benefits of chanting the Chandi and the Bhagavad Gita. He said something like that the chanting (with pranayama) helps us to get into harmony with the soul of the universe. Would this harmony be another way of describing self realization? Jai Maa! Jai Swamiji!
Guest guest
Namaste Sadumaa, The verse to which you refer is 112. Regarding the question of self-realization ... this is just Kalia's thought .. pranayama will bring us closer to Guruji in that the mind would become clearer and not so much affected by thoughts but only through Gurujis grace will we attain self-realization. Verse 76 of the Guru Gita says ......"The root of all liberation - otherwise known as self-realization is the Guru's grace (defined as do and get)>" Thank you for the question. Jai Maa , "Sadhu Maa" <sadumaa wrote: > > A line from the Guru Gita regarding the Gurus, "They are in harmony > with their own soul", jumped out yesterday morning.
