Before the sankalpa for Guru Poornima, I had started on the Guru Gita, but didn't finish it. This little turtle has just finished one recitation. At the end, I just felt, like, wow! As you say, it is so full and rich with information and meaning. On one level, I felt as if I were reading a very profound "How To" manual or workbook. I underlined a lot of what I was reading ... for further thought, for a question or two to ask Swamiji, and now, perhaps to discuss. One thing that in one way amazed me and in another way, I didn't understand, was that in several places, the Guru Gita was called "this Mantra," as in "whoever recites this Mantra..." The thought that an entire work could be a mantra amazed me, so this is one of the things I would like to ask Swamiji about. Yes, let's discuss.
